STEP 1
How to bake fish fillet in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. You can use any fish fillet. I have pre-cleaned trout fillet from skin and bones. Add spices and aromatic herbs to taste and desire.
STEP 2
Wash the fish fillet and dry well. Cut the fillet into portions. Salt on both sides, sprinkle with aromatic herbs, sprinkle with lemon juice. Cover the fish and leave on the table for 20-30 minutes so that the fillet marinates a little. If you are preparing fillets of pink salmon, pollock or other low-fat fish, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil.
STEP 3
Wash the pre-peeled onions and cut into thin rings.
STEP 4
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into medium-thick slices. It is better to take tomatoes that are ripe, but not overripe, with thick skin so that they retain their shape when cut and baked.
STEP 5
Grate the cheese on a coarse or fine grater. You can take any cheese: hard, semi-hard, processed. The main thing is that it is tasty and melts well.
STEP 6
Grease a baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil. A ceramic, metal or glass form is suitable. Place pieces of fish fillet into it. .
STEP 7
Brush the top of the fish with sour cream.
STEP 8
Place onion rings on top of the sour cream.
STEP 9
Place tomato slices on the onion.
STEP 10
Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
STEP 11
Bake the fish fillet in an oven preheated to 180C for 30-35 minutes. To make the fish more juicy and not dry out, cover the pan with a layer of foil. Remove the foil 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking. Cooking time and mode may vary. Focus on the operating features of your oven.
