    How to make potato pancakes with chicken? Prepare your ingredients. It’s better to take chicken fillet; we only need meat. Chicken meat needs to be cut very finely, since it is not pre-heat-treated.

    Wash the potatoes, peel and grate on a medium grater. Place the chopped chicken fillet and grated potatoes in a bowl. The onions should also be chopped very finely and added to the bowl with the potatoes and chicken.

    Add spices to taste: salt and ground black pepper. Beat the chicken egg into a bowl with the other ingredients. To make the potato pancakes juicy and the chicken meat in them soft, add a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise to the bowl. Stir to combine ingredients. Add flour and stir until smooth, so that the flour disperses and does not form lumps.

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place a tablespoon of minced potato and meat onto the heated oil. There is no need to make pancakes too thick to make it easier for the meat to fry. You need to pour more oil so that the meat in the pancakes is thoroughly fried. It is advisable to take a frying pan with a lid and during frying, first close it for a while, then remove the lid and let the potato pancakes brown.

To prepare potato pancakes with chicken, I grinded potatoes and chicken fillet through a meat grinder; I avoided onions in this recipe altogether. I replaced mayonnaise with sour cream, and took heaping tablespoons of flour. Mixed everything thoroughly. The result was such good minced potato, you could put it on the frying pan with a spoon, and it didn’t spread, but held its shape well. I fried it with the lid closed for a long time so that the potatoes were well cooked (it didn’t take much time for the chicken), and then for some more time without the lid for browning. This was my first time making these pancakes. And I was very pleased. I'm not a big fan of chicken, but it works very well in this recipe. It was very tasty with sour cream! Nice recipe, thanks!

I made these pancakes, but changed the recipe a little. Instead of potatoes, I finely grated zucchini, and did not chop the chicken fillet, but used minced meat. The pancakes turned out to have a very pleasant taste and delicate texture, literally melting in your mouth.
