STEP 1
How to make potato pancakes with chicken? Prepare your ingredients. It’s better to take chicken fillet; we only need meat. Chicken meat needs to be cut very finely, since it is not pre-heat-treated.
STEP 2
Wash the potatoes, peel and grate on a medium grater. Place the chopped chicken fillet and grated potatoes in a bowl. The onions should also be chopped very finely and added to the bowl with the potatoes and chicken.
STEP 3
Add spices to taste: salt and ground black pepper. Beat the chicken egg into a bowl with the other ingredients. To make the potato pancakes juicy and the chicken meat in them soft, add a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise to the bowl. Stir to combine ingredients. Add flour and stir until smooth, so that the flour disperses and does not form lumps.
STEP 4
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place a tablespoon of minced potato and meat onto the heated oil. There is no need to make pancakes too thick to make it easier for the meat to fry. You need to pour more oil so that the meat in the pancakes is thoroughly fried. It is advisable to take a frying pan with a lid and during frying, first close it for a while, then remove the lid and let the potato pancakes brown.
STEP 5
So fry first on one side, then on the other. Do this with all the prepared mixture. Remove the hash browns from the pan onto a paper towel. Let excess fat drip off. An easy to prepare, but satisfying and tasty dish is ready.
STEP 6
Serve with mayonnaise, fresh herbs and fresh vegetables. Potato pancakes with chicken can serve not only as a snack, but also as lunch or dinner. Bon appetit!
