  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make donuts without yeast using milk with blueberries and lemon? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. In a small bowl, combine all liquid ingredients - milk, egg, lemon juice and honey. For flavor, you can add a little lemon zest to the mixture. Wash the egg with baking soda first, as there may be harmful bacteria on its surface.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt through a sieve or using a special mug into a large bowl. Add sugar and pour in the mixture of liquid ingredients. Stir the dough until smooth, but do not beat it. It is convenient to do this with a whisk. You may need a little less or more flour. The dough should not be liquid, but not too thick.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Grease milk donut molds at home with vegetable oil and place 5-6 blueberries on the bottom (you can use frozen berries). Fill the molds three-quarters full with dough and place a few more berries on top. You can use other berries if you wish.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the pan in an oven preheated to 240 degrees and bake the donuts for 8-10 minutes. Time and temperature are approximate, use your oven as a guide. Whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice for the glaze. Remove the finished, golden donuts from the oven and let them stand for 5-7 minutes, and then carefully remove them from the molds using a spatula. Cover the fluffy donuts with the lemon glaze once they have cooled completely.

The recipe for donuts without yeast with homemade milk attracted me primarily because of the ease of preparation. The dough for them is kneaded very quickly. It turns out quite thick. Instead of lemon juice, I added half a teaspoon of citric acid dissolved in 60 ml of water. Instead of blueberries, I put frozen lingonberries. I don’t have special donut molds, so I baked one large pie. So it took longer to bake – 25 minutes. I cut the finished donut pie into portions and decorated with custard. The donut pie turned out very tasty, fluffy, soft, with a beautiful golden brown crust. Thank you very much for the recipe!
