  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make delicious, quick and easy tea cookies in the oven? Prepare your food. Use a measuring glass with a volume of 250 ml. You can reduce the amount of sugar; it makes the cookies very sweet. Take refined, odorless vegetable oil.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Take a large bowl for the dough. Beat an egg into it. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Add sugar and a pinch of vanillin. How to replace vanillin, read the article at the end of the recipe. Pour in vegetable oil.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Stir the ingredients with a spoon until you get a mass similar to honey.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sift half of the total flour into a bowl. Sifting will not only remove possible debris, but also saturate the flour with oxygen, which will make baked goods softer and airier. Sprinkle baking powder on top of the flour. Stir the mixture with a spoon until smooth. It will be quite liquid. You may need a little less or more flour, check the consistency. Read about the properties of flour and the nuances of using baking powder in the articles, following the links at the end of the recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Sift the remaining flour. Continue kneading first with a spoon and then with your hands.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The dough will very quickly become homogeneous and form a ball. It turns out not sticky at all.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Line a baking tray with baking paper. Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll into balls the size of a walnut. Flatten them and place them at a distance from each other - the cookies will grow a lot during baking.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Using a glass, knife or fork, score the cookies. Or you can leave it round.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

If you wish, you can dip each cookie in sugar, I used brown. Or sprinkle with cinnamon.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Bake cookies in the oven, preheated to 180°C for 10-15 minutes. The times are approximate, use your technique. Read about the operation of ovens in a separate article under the steps. The cookies will be pale and soft, don't worry about this, they will firm up as they cool. And if you bake it for a long time, it will become hard.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Cool the finished cookies and serve with milk or tea. Bon appetit!

This recipe is one of the first to appear in searches for easy, quick cookies. And the availability of ingredients is an additional incentive to choose it. And I didn’t regret it. I baked cookies using this recipe. I added a little more flour, otherwise my dough with the amount indicated in the recipe was still very sticky. But next time I’ll add less sugar. And I haven’t yet dipped it in sugar or sprinkled it with anything. It turned out to be as many as 18 cookies)) I kept them in the oven for 12 minutes. And at the end they really turned out tender, airy inside, crispy on top - perfect. Well, maybe it’s a little sweet for me 😄. Successful dough, successful and quick recipe! I will repeat)))

These are simply masterpiece cookies for tea! It’s easy and quick to prepare; you don’t even need to keep it in the refrigerator. The dough is simply amazing. Not sticky at all, I didn’t even wet my hands. It is soft, molds perfectly, looks like airy plasticine, from which my daughter molds food for dolls) Working with such dough is a real pleasure. I prepared two portions of dough at once, one wouldn’t be enough for all of us) I weighed the lumps of dough on an electronic scale. I measured out 30g each so that the cookies turned out identical and baked at the same time. I placed a piece of walnut inside the dough balls. The cookies are very easy to form! I got 30 pieces, they just fit on a large standard baking sheet. I made the pattern using the edge of a small round cutout. Bake for 15 minutes. It seemed to me that they were still raw, but I listened to the author and took the baking sheet out of the oven) The cookies increased in size and became not just soft, but incredibly airy and crumbly. I advise you not to try to remove the cookies from the sheet until they have completely cooled, they are very fragile. But then it became crispier, but not tough. Cooled cookies are just as crumbly, soft, and incredibly tasty. The kids just swept it off the table! I think this recipe can be used as a base one. You can add cocoa, mint, lemon, poppy seeds in small quantities and get different tastes. I’ll have to try experimenting) Thank you so much for this great recipe!

I’ve been reading rave reviews about this delicious cookie recipe for a long time and finally it’s my turn. The reviews are well deserved. True, it took me almost 2 cups of flour, maybe I was just playing it safe. First I set the timer for 10 minutes, then for 3, then I just stood by the oven for another 2 minutes without leaving. In the end, it took 15 minutes. I listened to the advice and did not touch the cookies until they cooled. By the way, it cooled down quickly. How cute and tender it turned out! So cozy and homey. I dipped the top in sugar and it turned out to be such a delicious crust! I don’t remember how I had such cookies in my childhood, with just such a crust, I can only remember “Leningradskoye” in my head. I could be wrong. I regret one thing very much, I only got 12 pieces. I will definitely cook this delight, only at least 2 times more. Many thanks to the author of the recipe for such deliciousness and reverent, warm memories!

I urgently needed a simple and quick to prepare baking recipe, so I decided to try this one. I just replaced the wheat flour with rice flour, instead of a pinch of vanillin I took cinnamon (literally on the tip of a teaspoon), as a baking powder I used one level teaspoon of soda, which I quenched with lemon juice, and I added vegetable oil only after the flour, since that’s all I’m talking about I forgot, although I should have read the recipe more carefully. I added rice flour during kneading until the dough completely stopped sticking to the walls of the dish. None of the above affected its consistency and good result - the cookies turned out very tasty. Made for 16 servings (that's about 40 small cookies). You can and even should experiment with their shape. Thank you very much for the recipe!
