Place the butter in a smaller container (you can use margarine if you wish) and place it in a saucepan with water. Keep the butter in a water bath until it is completely melted. Then remove from heat and allow the oil to cool to approximately room temperature.

    Add flour to the cooled butter in small portions, stirring constantly with a whisk. To make the dough homogeneous, you need to mix thoroughly. The result will be a fairly thick mass.

    Add baking powder and salt to the resulting mass. Mix well.

    Now take the milk (it should be warm, so you need to warm it up before mixing) and pour it in a thin stream into the butter-flour mixture, stirring constantly. Add milk until you get a fairly liquid pancake dough (like liquid sour cream). It should be uniform in consistency and color.

    Take a pancake pan (I have a special Teflon pancake pan), grease it with vegetable oil or a piece of lard and bake pancakes. Now you can please your loved ones with delicious and tender pancakes without eggs! Bon appetit!

Olga! What a good recipe! Pancakes without eggs...it was scary to cook like that at first. I was afraid that everything would stick to the frying pan and that not only the first pancake would turn out to be lumpy... Therefore, I didn’t risk baking pancakes in a simple frying pan. I cooked on Teflon. Everything turned out just great. But do you think it’s possible to cook them simply, greasing them first, for example? Thanks for the recipe.

All my life I have been making pancakes without eggs, and they are very tasty, and without so much butter. Better eggs than putting so much butter.
