Deep-fried breaded cheese sticks for beer

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to deep-fry breaded cheese sticks for beer? Very simple and fast. First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can use any cheese, but it must melt well. Unbrined pizza mozzarella or regular hard cheeses such as Gouda are suitable. It is better to take cheese in the form of even rectangles - it is very convenient to cut them into even sticks.
STEP 2

Beat the eggs until smooth. Take large, selected eggs. If the eggs are small, take 3 pieces.
STEP 3

Cut the cheese into equal cubes about 10 cm long and 1 cm thick.
STEP 4

Roll each block of cheese in flour on all sides.
STEP 5

Then dip on all sides in beaten eggs. Don’t forget about the ends, they also need to be dipped in eggs. If you see that there may not be enough batter, you can add another egg during the process and beat. I had two large eggs enough for 10 cheese sticks, with a little bit left over.
STEP 6

Now roll the cheese thoroughly on all sides in breadcrumbs. To make the sticks beautiful and the breading to adhere tightly to the cheese, take crackers that are coarser, richly yellow and with spices. If you have regular whitish crackers, add paprika, turmeric, salt and pepper to taste for color.
STEP 7

Prepare the remaining cheese sticks in the same way. It is better to roll the sticks in flour, eggs and breadcrumbs using tongs or prick the cheese with a fork. It is not advisable to use your hands, since the breading sticks to fingers smeared in batter even better than to cheese)).
STEP 8

In a deep frying pan with a small diameter (mine is 20 cm) over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and fry the cheese in it on both sides for 1-1.5 minutes until golden brown. You can remove it earlier if you see that the cheese has begun to leak out here and there. Place the finished cheese sticks on a paper towel to drain excess fat.
STEP 9

Serve the sticks immediately while the cheese inside is hot and stretches well. You can serve with different sauces. I served it with lingonberries. It's very tasty! Bon appetit!
