STEP 1
There are several recipes for Danube salad. Today I bring to your attention a recipe with white cabbage. Take the products according to the list: cabbage, sweet peppers, carrots, onions, tomatoes. To fill, prepare oil, vinegar, salt and sugar. Black peppercorns are taken from the spices.
STEP 2
You don’t need to chop all the ingredients very finely if you don’t want to end up with vegetable porridge. Shred white cabbage.
STEP 3
Cut the carrots into thin petals, and then, stacking them, cut into thin strips.
STEP 4
Cut the onion into half rings and sweet pepper into strips.
STEP 5
Cut the tomatoes into large slices.
STEP 6
Place all the vegetables in a saucepan, season with salt, sugar, and vinegar. Add peppercorns. Stir the mixture and leave for 2-3 hours at room conditions. Then put on the fire and bring to a boil, simmer for 10 minutes.
STEP 7
Place the hot mixture into sterile jars.
STEP 8
Roll up with sterile lids and place under a fur coat until completely cooled.
