Curd casserole for children with oatmeal
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Let's prepare the ingredients for the cottage cheese casserole. It is better to take natural country cottage cheese, but fatty store-bought cottage cheese will also work, the main thing is not to use cottage cheese products for children.
STEP 2
Place the cottage cheese in a deep bowl, add sugar and salt to taste. If desired, and if children do not have allergies, you can add honey instead of sugar. If dried fruits, fruits or berries are added to the casserole, then the amount of sugar naturally needs to be reduced.
STEP 3
Pour oatmeal into a bowl with cottage cheese. It is better to take extra grade rolled oats; these flakes are of good quality and do not need to be washed. If you use regular oatmeal, it is better to rinse it and lightly dry the flakes. Mix.
STEP 4
Beat in a chicken egg. Stir the mixture so that the egg disperses and combines the ingredients well.
STEP 5
Pour milk into the mixture. You can add a couple of tablespoons of sour cream, then the casserole will be more nutritious, which is also desirable for a young growing organism. Mix the curd and oat mass well.
STEP 6
Add washed and dried raisins and walnuts, chop the walnuts finely with a knife. Mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 7
Grease the mold with butter, sprinkle with flour or breadcrumbs. Place the finished mixture in the mold. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the casserole for about 25 minutes. It should increase slightly in volume and brown on top.
STEP 8
Remove the casserole from the oven. Let it cool a little so that the kids don’t get burned, and serve. A delicious and healthy breakfast for children is ready. This casserole with cottage cheese and oatmeal will provide your child with energy for a long time.
STEP 9
You can serve it with sour cream, fresh berries or jam. Or eat it like this, it turns out very tasty, sweet and juicy. Bon appetit!
