  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cranberry mousse with semolina? Cranberries can be taken either fresh or frozen. You can adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste preferences.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

    Wash and sort the cranberries.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour 50 ml of water into the berries and mash them. Rub the berry puree through a fine sieve to separate the juice from the pulp. You can also place the mashed berries in a clean cotton cloth and extract the juice.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the cake in a saucepan and add 600 ml of water. Place the pan on the stove, bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes. After this, strain the resulting broth. The cake can be thrown away; it will no longer be needed.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the pan with the broth on low heat, add the semolina. Stirring constantly, bring the cranberry broth to a boil and cook for about 10-12 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

After 10 minutes, the cranberry broth will thicken and the consistency will be similar to jelly.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add sugar to the pan and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar crystals dissolve.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Remove the pan from the heat. Pour cranberry juice into the mixture and beat with a mixer for about 10 minutes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

After 10 minutes, the future cranberry mousse will lighten and many bubbles will form on its surface. The consistency will be airy and tender.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Spread the mousse among the bowls and refrigerate for two hours. If desired, before serving, you can decorate the mousse with cranberries and whipped cream, or as your imagination dictates. Bon appetit!

This recipe made an amazing dessert. Cranberry mousse with semolina has a very delicate texture. It is airy and viscous. Moderately sweet, with a pleasant cranberry bitterness. Although my daughter just didn’t appreciate this bitterness. You can't feel the semolina in the mousse. You can drink the freshly prepared mousse, although it turns out to be quite thick. And from the refrigerator it looks like whipped cottage cheese. At first it seemed to me that this mousse was quite difficult to prepare. But I was wrong. Yes, there are a lot of steps that need to be done, but they are all simple. From the suggested amount of ingredients, I got three thin glasses of cranberry mousse. Next time I’ll try to make this dessert from other berries. Thank you very much for the recipe!

Cranberry is a product with amazing properties! And cranberry mousse with semolina is also very tasty! It doesn't take long or difficult to prepare! And the end result is a tender, airy dish with a slight sourness. The nice thing is that the amount of sugar and, accordingly, the taste of the dish is determined by everyone for themselves. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Cranberry mousse with semolina is new to me. I love cranberries, I make fruit juice out of them during the season and eat them just like that - with sugar or honey. I made mousse for the first time. The whole family liked it. Thanks for the recipe!
