Cottage cheese-orange bagels

Mix the pureed cottage cheese with soft butter.
STEP 3

Add flour sifted with baking powder and vanilla.
STEP 4

Knead soft, elastic dough. Place in the refrigerator for about an hour.
STEP 5

For the filling, remove the zest from the orange and mix with sugar. The amount of sugar can be adjusted to your taste.
STEP 6

Divide the dough into 3 parts, roll each into a round layer. We level it on a plate (mine is 24 cm in diameter) and cut it into 12 equal segments. From the scraps I made another layer. Sprinkle the segments with zest and sugar. You can also lightly roll over it so that the filling sticks a little.
STEP 7

Roll the bagels from the wide end to the narrow end. Place on a sheet covered with oiled parchment. Brush the top of each bagel with beaten egg and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. I made 48 small bagels.
STEP 8

Bake at 180 degrees. about 20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly and serve. Enjoy your tea!
