  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cottage cheese casserole in the oven for a child? Prepare your food. Choose high-quality, natural cottage cheese, without vegetable fats. It is better if it is soft and pasty rather than crumbly. Any fat content is suitable, but the higher it is, the tastier the casserole will be. Take butter that meets GOST standards. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance; it should become soft.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place the cottage cheese in a large bowl. If the cottage cheese is dry and lumpy, then rub it through a sieve or punch it with a blender. Add soft butter to the cottage cheese. I didn’t have time to take it out in advance, so I put the butter in the microwave for a while, without letting it melt completely. Add sugar, salt and vanillin. Beat in the eggs. Be sure to wash your eggs before cooking; their shells may contain harmful microbes. Beat the products with a mixer.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

If the mass turns out to be too thick, then pour a little milk into it, a couple of tablespoons. Alternatively, you can add sour cream or natural yogurt. Pour semolina into the curd base. And beat it again with a mixer, but at low speed.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Leave the mixture to stand for 30 minutes. During this time, the semolina will swell and absorb excess liquid.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Take a suitable baking dish. Any heat-resistant pan will work for this recipe. If you use a silicone mold, there is no need to coat it with butter or margarine. But it is better to lightly grease metal, ceramic or glass dishes with oil so that the baked goods do not burn. I greased it with cream. My mold measures 31*17 cm, but I prepared 2 servings. Pour the curd mixture into the mold and smooth the top with a spatula.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Bake the casserole in the oven, preheated to 180°C for 35-55 minutes, depending on the size of the pan and the features of the oven. She should turn rosy. Remove the finished casserole from the oven and cool slightly.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Serve the casserole with sour cream, jam, condensed milk, and berries. It is delicious both warm and cold. Bon appetit!

It’s good that there are many recipes for cottage cheese casserole on the site; there is always something to choose from. Moreover, I bake casseroles regularly, but I somehow want to diversify them. This option attracted attention with the addition of butter and semolina. My son once said that it tastes best with butter, it’s more tender. That's why I chose this recipe. I made one serving, enough for breakfast. I usually bake casseroles in the evening, because... We all like them well chilled. The dough with semolina rested for about 20 minutes right in the mold. The mold was generously greased with butter. I baked it for half an hour, that was enough, the casserole was well browned. My daughter asked for a piece that was still warm, I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to cut it straight until the casserole had cooled, but everything turned out great. The pieces are cut evenly and keep their shape. The casserole is tasty, filling, beautiful, and rises well. I recommend this recipe to all cottage cheese lovers)
