    CAKE: Break the chocolate into small pieces, place in a heatproof bowl and place on a pan of suitable diameter with boiling water. Add butter. Stir with a whisk until the chocolate has melted in a water bath and the mixture is completely homogeneous.

    Add vanilla sugar to the chocolate, beat in the eggs one at a time, stirring constantly.

    Sift flour and salt into a bowl, add sugar. Pour the mixture into the chocolate and stir gently. Grease a baking tray with oil and line with baking paper. Pour out the resulting dough. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30 minutes. Let cool completely.

    CREAM: Beat butter with a mixer. Continuing to beat, pour in the condensed milk. Place the cream in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

    COOKIES: Cut the cooled dough sheet into pieces the size of army shoulder straps. Use a knife to round the corners at one end of each piece.

The cake got very hard when it cooled down, it’s good that I cut it on time, otherwise the “epaulets” wouldn’t have come out.
