STEP 1

How to make classic lightly salted cucumbers? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Choose small cucumbers of approximately the same size so that they are salted quickly and at the same time. To diversify the taste of cucumbers, you can add garlic, horseradish leaves or root, cherry leaves, currants, and chili pepper.
STEP 2

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and trim off their ends. Before pickling, you can soak the cucumbers for one hour. This way they will definitely turn out crispy.
STEP 3

Place peppercorns and bay leaves in a jar. I have a one and a half liter jar.
STEP 4

Wash and dry the dill. Put it in a jar.
STEP 5

Place cucumbers in a jar.
STEP 6

It is better to place cucumbers vertically. It will look more beautiful this way and more fruits will fit into the jar.
STEP 7

Pour water into a saucepan, add salt and put on fire. Stirring until the salt dissolves, bring the water to a boil. Pour the boiled marinade over the cucumbers and leave to cool at room temperature.
