STEP 1

How to make Chinese cabbage salad with corn? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose cabbage with white-yellow leaves; it is more ripe and juicy than green. You can use white cabbage instead, but with Beijing cabbage the salad turns out more tender. You can use any greens you like: parsley, cilantro, basil, etc. Wash the cabbage, cut it lengthwise into two halves and chop it into small pieces.
STEP 2

Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Wash and dry the green onions and dill and chop them finely. Remove the tough dill stems.
STEP 3

Place the cabbage in a bowl and lightly squeeze it with your hands. Add greens and corn.
STEP 4

Prepare the fill. To do this, chop the garlic (put it through a press, grate it or just finely chop it with a knife), add a little salt, sugar, lemon juice and mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 5

This salad should not be stored dressed, as it will settle, release water and have an unpresentable appearance. Therefore, season it just before serving. If you need to prepare the salad in advance, simply put all the ingredients in a bowl without stirring and place in the refrigerator, covered with cling film.
