STEP 1
How to make Chinese cabbage salad with chicken, croutons and tomatoes? First of all, prepare all the products that are listed. For brightness and a more appetizing look of the finished salad, take bell peppers of different colors and red onions or shallots.
STEP 2
Wash the chicken fillet and dry it with paper napkins or a kitchen towel. Cut the breast into small cubes, about 1.5 cm. by 1.5 cm.
STEP 3
Heat a small amount of vegetable or olive oil in a frying pan with a thick bottom (1-2 tablespoons will be enough). Send the chicken pieces to fry, the flame should be slightly above medium. Lightly salt the fillet and add a pinch of your favorite seasoning. Cook, stirring constantly, until the meat turns golden brown.
STEP 4
Peel the onion. Cut the bell peppers in half, remove the core and seeds. Rinse all vegetables in cold water and dry.
STEP 5
Chop Chinese cabbage into thin strips. Place in a salad bowl.
STEP 6
Cut the bell peppers and onions into thin strips or feathers. Add to cabbage.
STEP 7
Cut the tomatoes into small pieces or slices. Cherry tomatoes are very good for salad. They usually have a sweetish taste and perfectly complement all the ingredients in the salad.
STEP 8
Add meat and croutons to the salad bowl. I used store-bought ready-made croutons for salads. You can make your own crackers. To do this, cut white bread or loaf into small cubes. Fry the pieces of bread until golden brown in a small amount of vegetable oil, lightly salt, remove from heat and cool.
STEP 9
Prepare salad dressing. In a deep small container, mix olive oil, squeezed lemon juice and garlic, passed through a press.
STEP 10
Drizzle evenly over top of salad. Sprinkle with fresh herbs, finely chopped. Parsley, dill, basil or chives work well. If necessary, add salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 11
Toss the salad before serving. Ready!
