Chicken with potatoes in the sleeve
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make delicious chicken with potatoes in a sleeve in the oven? Very simple! First, prepare the necessary ingredients. You can take a whole chicken weighing about 1.5 kg and cut it into portions like I did. Or take specific parts of the chicken, such as drumsticks, thighs or breasts.
STEP 2

Wash the chicken and dry it. Cut the chicken into portions and remove the skin if desired.
STEP 3

Sprinkle half of the spices over the meat, rubbing them into the meat.
STEP 4

Add half the mayonnaise and ketchup and stir. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
STEP 5

Wash and peel the potatoes thoroughly. Cut the potatoes into wedges.
STEP 6

Peel the carrots and cut into cubes or circles.
STEP 7

Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
STEP 8

Combine potatoes, carrots and onions in a bowl. Add the remaining spices, mayonnaise and ketchup and stir. Leave for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 9

Transfer the potatoes to a baking tray. Place chicken pieces on top. Tighten the sleeve on both sides and make several punctures on top to allow steam to escape.
STEP 10

Bake the potatoes and chicken in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 1 hour until done. The exact baking time depends on the size of the chicken pieces, the type of potatoes, and your oven. Therefore, focus on your equipment and products.
STEP 11

Place the finished chicken and potatoes on a plate, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve. Bon appetit!
