STEP 1
How to make a salad from chicken, Korean carrots and peppers? Prepare your ingredients.
STEP 2
Boil the chicken breast in salted water for 20 minutes, you can also take another part of the chicken; for the salad you only need meat, without bones. Then add a pinch of salt, a couple of black peppercorns and a bay leaf, cook for another 10 minutes. Pour the broth over the chicken and let it cool.
STEP 3
You can use fresh onions, or if you find them too bitter, pickle them in vinegar with added sugar and salt. Or do it even easier. Peel and finely chop the onion with a knife, put it in a bowl and pour boiling water over it, leave for 5 minutes and drain the water. Thanks to this method, onions lose their specific bitterness.
STEP 4
Finely chop the boiled chicken meat with a knife.
STEP 5
If you use store-bought Korean carrots, all you have to do is add them to the salad. But the taste of carrots from the store, of course, cannot be compared with the product prepared at home, so it is better to make Korean carrots yourself in advance. Grate the carrots using a Korean carrot grater, add vinegar and spices to taste and let it brew for several hours. After which you can use it to prepare a salad.
STEP 6
Wash the bell peppers under running water and dry with a paper towel. Remove the stalks with seeds. Cut the bell pepper into strips. To make the salad even brighter and more beautiful, you can take vegetables of different colors, for example, red and green.
STEP 7
Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl, add salt to taste and mayonnaise. Stir.
