STEP 1
How to bake chicken breast in cream sauce in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I used bone-in chicken breast, but a pre-cooked fillet would also work. The dish will be tastier from chilled meat. If you had it frozen, then defrost it first by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Take cream with 20% fat content, it is just suitable for sauces.
STEP 2
Remove skin and bone from chicken breasts; do not throw away the bone itself, but add it to the broth when cooking. Rub the meat with salt and pepper.
STEP 3
Bring the cream to a boil over low heat.
STEP 4
Add aromatic herbs to them, I use a mixture of “Provençal herbs”. You can add the herbs and spices you like.
STEP 5
Throw in some dried garlic there.
STEP 6
Stir the cream with spices, boil for a minute and turn off the heat.
STEP 7
Place the chicken fillet in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil.
STEP 8
Pour the cream sauce over the breasts.
STEP 9
Place the pan with the chicken in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
STEP 10
Grate Parmesan on a fine grater. When the 20 minutes are up, carefully remove the pan and sprinkle the dish with grated cheese.
STEP 11
Place the breasts in the oven for another 10 minutes. Remove the finished dish, cool slightly and serve.
STEP 12
Pour the resulting sauce over the side dish. Bon appetit!
