You can use store-bought minced meat in the recipe, but it’s better to cook it yourself. Cevapchichi can be made from beef, as well as from mixed minced meat, for example, beef plus pork, etc. Grind the meat twice in a meat grinder.

    Next, there are two ways to prepare the minced meat. First: pass the onion through a meat grinder and the garlic through a garlic press. Add all the spices, salt, egg and soda to the meat. Knead everything thoroughly. Second: cut the onion and garlic into portions and add to the minced meat.

The addition of soda was unusual, but I followed the recipe strictly and added that too (it didn’t affect the taste). Then I beat it and put it in the refrigerator.
