A favorite dish since childhood, it pleases on the table both during Lent and on holidays! Dumplings with cherries have been my favorite dish since childhood; I still remember how during the holidays my grandmother spoiled us with delicious dumplings with cherries and sour cream. Having tried to prepare dough for dumplings using water, I really appreciated it. I think it will be perfect for dumplings and pasties. Obedient, elastic and moldable. Just a miracle - not dough. And in the end, you get a completely lean dish if you eat it without sour cream and butter. Of course, for me, dumplings are acceptable only with sour cream, but my son prefers them with butter and sugar. But there’s no arguing about tastes, so you can fast with these dumplings, or you can just have a “Belly Festival”

    When it cools down a little, knead it with your hands and roll it into a bun. Set it aside to rest and prepare the filling.

    Remove the pits from the cherries and the filling is ready.

    The dough is very elastic. Easy to roll out and mold. Roll out a large layer, 3-4 mm thick. We arm ourselves with a glass and cut out circles for dumplings.
