Cherry dumplings made with water and vegetable oil

STEP 1
Ingredients needed for making dumplings...
STEP 2
In a bowl, mix flour with salt and soda.
STEP 3
Pour boiling water over the flour mixture with the addition of vegetable oil and stir quickly while it is hot.
STEP 4
When it cools down a little, knead it with your hands and roll it into a bun. Set it aside to rest and prepare the filling.
STEP 5
Remove the pits from the cherries and the filling is ready.
STEP 6
The dough is very elastic. Easy to roll out and mold. Roll out a large layer, 3-4 mm thick. We arm ourselves with a glass and cut out circles for dumplings.
STEP 7
Place 2-3 pitted cherries on each circle and sprinkle with sugar to taste.
STEP 8
We make dumplings. Cook the molded dumplings. Place in boiling water with a little salt. water, as soon as they float to the surface, cook for another 2-3 minutes and remove.
STEP 9
Ready-made dumplings can be served sprinkled with sugar, or served with sour cream or butter.
