Charlotte on eggs with apples
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make charlotte on eggs with apples? Prepare your food. Take a measuring glass with a volume of 250 ml. Eggs use category C1. You can reduce the amount of sugar at your discretion. Salt acts as a flavor enhancer. Apples of any variety are suitable, but especially tasty charlotte is obtained with autumn varieties - Antonovka, Semerenko.
STEP 2
Remove the eggs from the refrigerator in advance - warm ingredients make the sponge cake more fluffy and airy. If you did not have time to do this, then put them in warm water for a while. Beat the eggs into a bowl, add salt to them. Start beating the eggs on low speed mixer. When foam appears, increase the speed and start adding sugar in portions. Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy and light.
STEP 3
Sift flour into beaten egg mixture. Mix in the flour using a silicone spatula (it will not destroy the structure of the whipped mass). Mix gently from bottom to top until smooth. Remember that you may need less or more flour, you can read more about this in the article, the link to it is at the end of the recipe. The finished dough turns out like thick sour cream.
STEP 4
Wash the apples well. Cut off the skin from store-bought ones - there may be traces of wax on it, which is used to treat fruit to prevent spoilage. Cut the peeled apples in half. Cut out the center with the seeds and the stalk. Cut the apples into pieces.
STEP 5
Take a baking dish. I have a detachable one, 18 cm in diameter. I covered the bottom with parchment. Grease the bottom and sides of the pan with a drop of vegetable oil. Pour the dough into the mold. Place sliced apples on top. I sprinkled them with extra brown sugar to ensure a crispy crust when baked.
STEP 6
Bake the charlotte in the oven preheated to 180°C for 30-35 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven and the size of the cake, you can read more about this in the article, the link to it is at the end of the recipe under the steps. Check readiness with a wooden skewer - pierce the charlotte in several places; if the skewer comes out dry, then the mold can be removed from the oven.
STEP 7
Cool the charlotte completely and release it from the mold. Serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
