Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Cabbage for the winter with beets and carrots is prepared from the products listed in the list of ingredients.
STEP 2

First, make the marinade: add salt, sugar, vinegar, oil and spices to 1 liter of water, boil and leave.
STEP 3

Peel the vegetables.
STEP 4

Cut the cabbage into large slices.
STEP 5

Carrots and beets in half circles.
STEP 6

Place cabbage in a jar, alternating with slices of beets, carrots, and cloves of garlic, cut in half.
STEP 7

Pack the jar tightly.

Pour in the marinade to the top.

Thank you for participating in the Best Recipe of the Week competition. A very interesting cabbage recipe. The background and accessories are also well chosen. The only thing is that I would leave the jar without a lid: this way the cabbage will be visible without glare, and the bright orange lid will not distract, because it draws the eye from the cabbage to itself. The rest is excellent.
