    STEP 1

How to make cabbage rolls in a frying pan? A very simple, quick and affordable dish. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Remove the top damaged leaves from the cabbage. Chop the cabbage thinly, avoiding the dense, hard leaves around the stalk.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper and whisk until smooth. If the eggs are small, take 4 pieces.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour the beaten eggs into the cabbage and stir.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add flour and baking soda to the cabbage and stir again. You should get a homogeneous mass. You can pre-mix the beaten eggs with flour and soda and then pour this mixture into the cabbage.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Now prepare the sauce. You can replace the tomato juice in this recipe with ketchup or tomato paste, previously diluted in water. Sour cream will suit any fat content. I have 20%.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Combine sour cream and tomato juice in a glass and stir until smooth, breaking up any lumps.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Spoon the cabbage mixture into the pan, forming round pancakes of the same size.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Fry the cabbage pancakes on both sides until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes on each side. Transfer the finished cabbage pancakes to a plate.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

When all the pancakes are ready, place them overlapping each other in a clean pan. Pour the cabbage pancakes with tomato-sour cream sauce. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. You can transfer the pancakes to a baking dish and bake in the sauce in the oven.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Serve the finished cabbage pancakes to the table, garnished with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!

When I saw a recipe for cabbage soup on the feed, I decided that I would definitely cook them. They look really delicious, and we love cabbage cutlets. I slightly changed the amount of products, focusing on 400 g of cabbage. Thanks to the site's calculator, this is easy to do. Lightly mash the chopped cabbage to make it soft. Then added eggs and salt and mixed. And then flour and baking powder (instead of soda). I used universal vegetable seasoning. The mixture turned out thick, but I did not dilute it. With wet hands, I formed the cabbage rolls and fried them on both sides. My cutlets didn't fall apart! They keep their shape very well. I ended up with 11 cabbages. I poured sour cream and tomato sauce over them, added a little water and simmered under the lid for about 15 minutes. The cabbages became soft, but individual pieces were a little crunchy and held their shape well. Juicy, tasty, simply excellent! Next time I'll add garlic and more tomato. Thank you very much for the recipe!
