  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake cabbage cutlets in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Shred the white cabbage with a knife or in a food processor - this is more convenient, since the cabbage is chopped almost equally in this case, quite finely and uniformly, which is important when making cutlets.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the cabbage in a deep bowl where it will be convenient to make minced meat.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. To prevent it from stinging your eyes, you can wash the onion and knife with cold water.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add eggs, flour, salt and ground black pepper to the cabbage to taste. I also added a spoonful of breadcrumbs.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Form cutlets into arbitrary shapes and place them on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle oil over the top of the cutlets themselves.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about half an hour until the bottom of the cutlets is browned.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Remove the pan from the oven and use a spatula to turn the browned cutlets over. Bake them until the other side is browned.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Serve the finished cutlets immediately, piping hot. Bon appetit!

I had cabbage trimmings left over from making cabbage rolls, and I used them to make cutlets according to this recipe. I got 360g. lightly boiled cabbage. I ground them in a blender, and the result was a mass consisting of small “grains”. I replaced the onions with green onions, I think they taste better. Yes, and the green onions had to be placed somewhere) From the spices, I sprinkled the minced meat with black pepper and sea salt from the mill. I baked the cutlets for 40 minutes, without turning them over to the other side. I brushed the tops of the cutlets with vegetable oil using a silicone brush and turned on the grill five minutes before they were ready. The cutlets acquired an appetizing golden brown crust. This is delicious! The cutlets keep their shape perfectly and do not fall apart. They are fragrant and soft inside. I got 10 pieces. I recommend this wonderful recipe! Thank you!
