Buns in a frying pan

From ordinary products, quick and simple, soft and tasty! Buns fried in a frying pan come out no worse than those cooked in the oven, and they cook much faster. The buns turn out golden brown, with a crispy crust and fluffy crumb. They can be served with tea or used instead of bread.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make buns in a frying pan? Prepare your food. These buns are made from yeast dough on sponge. Prepare the dough. How to make a dough? Heat the milk on gas or in the microwave, the temperature should be 37-38 degrees. In a warm environment, yeast activates well, in a hot environment it will die, and in a cold environment it simply does not work.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Dissolve sugar in a glass of warm milk and stir until it is completely dissolved. Add dry yeast and flour, mix again. Place the container in a warm place for 15 minutes. A yeast cap should appear on the surface of the mixture, which means that the yeast has been activated and the dough is prepared correctly.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour the dough into a deep bowl, beat in the chicken egg, stir until the egg disperses. Melt the butter in any way, cool it to room temperature. Pour the melted butter into the bowl with the dough, add salt, stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sift the wheat flour, it is better to do this a couple of times to saturate it with oxygen, then the baked goods will turn out especially airy. Pour the flour in parts into a bowl, stirring the dough each time. You can use a little more or a little less flour, depending on the quality and manufacturer of the flour. When the dough becomes difficult to stir with a spoon, place it on a table sprinkled with flour and continue kneading the dough with your hands.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

The dough should be soft, elastic, slightly sticky to your hands. Place it in a bowl and brush the top with vegetable oil to prevent the dough from getting crusty. Cover the bowl with a towel and place in a warm place for 1 hour. You can put it in the oven, preheated to 40 degrees. When the dough has risen, punch it down and let it rise again. Then put it on the table sprinkled with flour.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Make a thick sausage out of it. Cut it into equal-sized pieces of the desired size. Roll them into balls and flatten them slightly to make fluffy cakes. Let them sit warm and rise a little.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the buns in the pan and fry them over medium heat, first on one side, covering with a lid, so that they are baked inside. Then turn the buns over and fry on the second side until golden brown. Remove the buns from the pan and serve with sour cream, jam or condensed milk as desired. Bon appetit!

The recipe reminded me of crumpets, which are also fried in a frying pan. True without yeast. The dough is kneaded with kefir and soda.

Today I baked buns in a frying pan. I kneaded the dough in accordance with the author’s recipe, only reducing the amount of sugar (put 1 tablespoon). I baked the buns in a thick-walled frying pan over low heat with a lid on. The buns turned out, of course, not as “elegant” as those from the oven, but they baked perfectly and tasted good, and they were faster and easier to cook than in the oven. Thanks for the recipe, Snezhana!
