Make the fire a little more than medium. How long to fry the flatbread? I cooked on one side for 7 minutes until brown spots formed. Use your stove as a guide - it may take 5 minutes, or maybe 10. The longer the cakes are on the fire, the crispier they will turn out.

    Turn over and fry until done - it took me about 7 more minutes. Remove the finished flatbread from the frying pan and fry the remaining two, which we prepare according to the same principle as the first.

    It turned out to be three small cakes! Fragrant, soft, flaky due to the oil inside. Very tasty! Use these flatbreads instead of bread or simply with tea, coffee or other drinks.

Kneading the dough is easy and simple, although it takes a little effort to form flat cakes. I increased the portions a little and I got 4 flatbreads. Even in the photo, both the author and I can see that the flatbreads were slightly flaky. It was very tasty with soup, but it would be no less tasty with other dishes, even just with tea. I'm interested in a recipe for quick bread tortillas instead of bread in a frying pan. I used whole grain flour (proteins 12 g). Milk with 2.5 percent fat content. I used 320 grams of flour. The dough turned out soft, elastic, pliable. I divided the dough into 3 parts, each weighing approximately 180 grams. I fried the tortillas in a cast iron frying pan. I fried the first flatbread over medium heat on a large burner for 5 minutes from each pan. It burned a little, so I fried the next two over low heat, turning them every 1.5-2 minutes. Fry for a total of about 10 minutes. The flatbreads were well baked and turned out golden brown. These flatbreads are an excellent quick and tasty alternative to bread.
