Braised ribs in a slow cooker
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to stew ribs in a slow cooker? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Rinse the pork ribs thoroughly in running water and dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. I try to choose ribs with more meat to make it more filling.
STEP 2
Cut the ribs into pieces.
STEP 3
Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them to remove dirt. Cut the onion into half rings or a little smaller. There is no need to cut very finely. Cut the carrots into rings or cubes. If desired, you can grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 4
Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and turn on the “Frying” mode. Place the prepared pork ribs and fry them until golden brown. Then sprinkle with salt and spices. You can take ground black pepper and suneli hops. If you wish, you can use any spices to suit your taste.
STEP 5
Next, add the chopped onions and carrots to the slow cooker. Add chopped garlic. Mix everything and continue frying everything together for another 5 minutes.
STEP 6
Stir the tomato paste in a glass of hot water and pour into the bowl with the ribs. Add bay leaf for flavor. Switch the multicooker to the "Stew" mode for 1 hour. If you want to get more gravy, you can add more water.
STEP 7
During stewing, the meat on the ribs will become soft. The vegetables are almost boiled. And a delicious aroma will appear.
STEP 8
Braised ribs are ready! Place them on a dish, add any side dish and serve hot. Bon appetit!
