With an abundance of zucchini in the refrigerator, I decided to look on the website for a simple recipe using them. I liked the boiled zucchini, which was quick and tasty. I had never cooked them and didn’t know what they tasted like. I did everything according to the recipe. I decided to cut it larger so that it wouldn’t get overcooked. Cooked for exactly 10 minutes after boiling over low heat under the lid. I salted the water first. The pieces remained absolutely intact, and even became a pleasant greenish color and translucent! The structure is soft, but pleasant to chew; the zucchini did not turn into “porridge.” It seems to me that you can add bay leaves and allspice to the water, then the zucchini will be more flavorful. To get crackers, I fried pieces of loaf in vegetable oil and added a little salt. It turned out that boiled zucchini is very tasty, especially if you dip it in ketchup! Fried croutons perfectly complement tender zucchini with their bright taste!
