STEP 1
How to cook beef tongue in a slow cooker? Prepare the following ingredients. Wash and peel the vegetables, carrots and onions can be cut in half. Rinse the beef tongue under running water; if there is deeper contamination, the tongue should be soaked in cold water and then peeled with a knife.
STEP 2
Place beef tongue, prepared vegetables in a multicooker bowl, add spices and salt.
STEP 3
Fill the tongue with vegetables with cold water so that it barely covers the tongue itself. Turn on the "Extinguishing" mode for 2 - 3 hours. The time indicated is approximate, as it will depend on the operating characteristics of your multicooker. It took me two hours to cook the beef tongue. Read about multicookers in the article at the link at the end of the recipe. If there is less water in the bowl during stewing, then it is better not to add it, but to turn the tongue itself.
STEP 4
The finished tongue is soft and juicy. When the tongue is cooked in the multicooker, remove it from the multicooker bowl and immediately peel it off the skin under cold water. It is very easy to clean.
STEP 5
Beef tongue is ready to eat. It is very good to use as a cut for sandwiches or as a main ingredient for salads. Bon appetit!
