STEP 1

How to cook barley porridge in a slow cooker with milk? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take milk with minimal fat content, otherwise it will escape from the multicooker. If the milk is fatty, then it can be combined with water.
STEP 2

Grease the multicooker bowl along the bottom and walls with a piece of butter. And leave a little oil in the bowl itself. Why grease the bowl with oil? This is necessary to prevent milk from escaping from the multicooker.
STEP 3

Rinse barley several times in cold water. The water after washing should remain clean and almost transparent. Garbage and husks will immediately float to the surface, and they can be drained along with the water. Drain excess water from the cereal. If a little water remains in the bowl, it's okay.
STEP 4

Place the washed barley into the multicooker bowl.
STEP 5

Pour milk over the cereal. Add a pinch of salt and sugar to the bowl. Mix everything. I love sweet porridge and the specified amount of sugar is enough for me. But you can add or reduce the amount according to your taste.
STEP 6

Place the bowl in the multicooker and close the lid. I turned on the “Milk porridge” mode for 40 minutes. You focus on the features of your technology.
STEP 7

After the specified time, the multicooker will sound a signal that the porridge is ready. The porridge turns out to be quite thick, since barley groats absorb liquid well. If you like your porridge to be liquid, then you can add hot milk to the finished porridge and stir everything well. The fragrant, tasty and tender porridge is ready!
STEP 8

Place the finished porridge on prepared plates and serve hot. If desired, add a small piece of butter or fresh berries to the porridge. Bon appetit!
