STEP 1

How to bake catfish in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Catfish steaks must be thawed first. Do this at room temperature. You should not defrost the fish in hot water, as this will cause it to lose all its juices and become dry. Use a paper towel to blot any excess moisture from the surface of the fish. If you have a whole fish, then you need to gut it, cut off the head and fins and wash it well.

Sprinkle the catfish steaks with a little lemon juice and sprinkle with soy sauce. Considering that soy sauce itself is salty, there is no need to add salt. Still, be guided by your taste. Leave the fish to sit for a while.

At this time, start preparing the vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots and rinse in cold water. Cut the onion into half rings or a little smaller. Grate the carrots.
