STEP 1
How to bake an avocado with an egg in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose ripe avocados. It should be dark green in color and soft to the touch. Choose eggs that are not large, category C2. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.
STEP 2
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. If avocados are not stable, you can cut off the bottom of them. Use a spoon to carefully remove some of the pulp, being careful not to damage the walls and bottom of the fruit.
STEP 3
Break an egg into each avocado half. I had large eggs, but the avocado, on the contrary, was not very large, and some of the white from each egg turned out to be unnecessary. Therefore, it is better to estimate in advance whether the entire egg will fit into the fruit you have chosen.
STEP 4
Place the avocado in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for about 10-15 minutes until the eggs are ready. The exact baking time depends on the power of your oven.
STEP 5
Place the hot avocado and egg on a plate, sprinkle with Provençal herbs, salt and pepper. You can also sprinkle each half with grated cheese to make it more filling. Breakfast with avocado and egg is ready. Serve immediately while the appetizer is hot. Bon appetit!
