STEP 1

How to make apple pie with sour cream? Let's prepare the ingredients for the pie. All food stored in the refrigerator must be removed in advance so that it is at room temperature. If you don’t have time to wait for the natural softening of the butter, then you can burn it in a microwave oven or in a water bath so that it melts a little. Place the butter in a deep bowl; after heating, it should cool down and be at room temperature.
STEP 2

Beat in a chicken egg, add sour cream and sugar. If desired, the amount of sugar can be changed depending on taste, making it more or less sweet. Using a whisk or mixer, mix the ingredients until smooth.
STEP 3

We sift the wheat flour to saturate it with oxygen and make the baked goods more airy and fluffy. Mix wheat flour with baking powder. Baking powder can be replaced with baking soda slaked with vinegar. For half a teaspoon of soda, half a teaspoon of table vinegar is enough. Pour the flour into the bowl with the liquid.
STEP 4

Knead the dough with a whisk or mixer; it should have the consistency of thick sour cream. The dough must be mixed thoroughly so that all the lumps of flour disperse. Let the dough rest on the counter for 20 minutes.
STEP 5

Let's prepare the apple filling. It is better to take sweet and sour varieties of apples. Wash the apples, remove the skin, cut out the core with seeds. We cut the apples into slices or small cubes, as you prefer.
STEP 6

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease baking pans with butter. Pour the dough into the mold.
STEP 7

Place the prepared apple pieces on the dough, sinking them into the dough. Place the pie in the oven for 30 minutes. You can check the readiness with a wooden toothpick; it should be dry when it comes out. Remove the pie from the oven and pan. Let it cool a little and serve with tea, coffee or cocoa.
