Apple juice in a juicer

Delicious, natural, healthy! Apple juice in a juicer for the winter is much healthier than store-bought. There are no preservatives or any chemicals in it, you know exactly what apples are included in it. And, of course, there is no huge amount of sugar in it.

How to cook juice in a juicer for the winter? Prepare all the necessary ingredients to make apple juice. If you prefer all-natural juice, then skip the sugar completely. It is better to take juicy apples, preferably from your own garden. They should be juicy and preferably sweet and sour in taste. The redder the apples are, the darker the juice will be.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the apples thoroughly and cut into slices, removing the stems and core with seeds, dents and damage.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the prepared apple slices in the upper compartment intended for them, sprinkling them with sugar. Do not try to fill it with the top, as during cooking the mass may rise, leak and stain everything.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Assemble the juicer according to the instructions that came with it. My juicer consists of 3 parts. 2 liters of water are poured into the lower part, a juice collector section is installed on it, in which there is a tube for draining juice with a shut-off valve. The part with apples and a lid finishes everything off. Place the juicer over medium heat and bring the water in the bottom compartment to a boil. Make the juice for one hour, during which time the apples should be completely boiled and release their juice.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour the hot juice through the juice tube into sterilized jars or bottles and immediately close with boiled lids. Cover the juice until it cools completely. This will be an additional heat treatment for better storage of juice.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

This is the apple mass left after making the juice. But don’t rush to throw it away, it makes an excellent puree or you can make delicious jam.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

    Bon appetit.

Apple and tomato juices are my favorites. I cook about the same, the recipe is good. As an alternative, I will offer a recipe for apple compote for the winter. Makes an excellent drink and whole apples for dessert. Very tasty and convenient!
