A beautiful dessert - very simple and very tasty! Anthill cake is a childhood favorite delicacy that even a novice housewife can handle. I baked the cookies for the base myself, but if you need dessert urgently, you can buy a store-bought one, thanks to which everything will be done in a matter of minutes.

    How to make Anthill cakes at home? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take premium flour. Thick condensed milk, high quality. Condensed milk should not be liquid or have an unnatural smell - this is a sign that the product should not be consumed. Sour cream needs a fat content of 20% or higher. The oil should be of high quality, at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance.

    Sift the flour into a bowl. Add soft butter at room temperature, sour cream and baking powder.

    Knead soft elastic dough. The shortbread dough should not be kneaded for too long, otherwise the cookies will turn out hard. In the first moments of kneading, the dough is quite sticky, but as you knead, when the ingredients are combined with each other, the dough thickens and sticks to your hands. I didn’t need additional flour, but if the dough sticks to your hands too much when kneading, you can add 1-2 tbsp. l. Be careful not to over-flour the dough!

    Gather the dough into a ball, wrap in film and place in the freezer for 45 minutes.

    Grate the cooled dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180°C for 10-15 minutes and bake the dough until golden brown. Time and temperature are approximate, use your oven as a guide. Cool the finished dough to room temperature.

    Rub the cooled grated dough into coarse crumbs with your hands.

    Chop the walnuts.

    Combine the resulting crumbs with boiled condensed milk and chopped walnuts.

    Knead everything thoroughly. The condensed milk should spread throughout the cookies and nuts.

    Form not very tall cone-shaped cakes from the resulting mass. If the mixture sticks too much to your hands, lightly moisten your hands with water. I got 9 cakes.

    Sprinkle some of the cakes with poppy seeds on top or place the tops in a bowl with poppy seeds.

    Drizzle the rest of the cakes with chocolate topping or melted chocolate from a piping bag. You can do without poppy seeds and topping - it will be delicious anyway.

An awesome delicacy - Anthill cake with boiled condensed milk! Even a child can handle the preparation. We prepared everything exactly as in the recipe and did not make a mistake. The result was 11 weighty anthills. Shaped with wet hands. I baked samava cookies for the base, they are delicious even without sugar. The proportions of flour, sour cream and butter are excellent. Now there is something delicious for tea for a few days)
