For salads, it is recommended to take saury in oil (not in its own juice), draining the last drop. This fish is more juicy and tender compared to the other (the second one can be used for cooking soups). It is better to remove the ridge, but you can leave it in, although the dish will turn out a little rougher. Usually the fish is mashed with a fork. But it can also be disassembled into fibers manually.
The simplest saury salad requires eggs, onions and mayonnaise. Everything is crushed, mixed and seasoned with sauce. As a result, we get not only a salad, but also a spread for morning sandwiches.
