Finger-licking preparations for the winter
There are so many preparations included in the Finger-Licking Recipes series for the winter! For gourmets - winter options with beans and rice - it’s very convenient to open the jar, heat it up, add meat or scrambled eggs, and get a complete, hearty lunch, dinner or snack!
All ingredients are suitable here:
- garden vegetables are wonderful in any form: overripe tomatoes are used for juice and the liquid component of preparations, crooked peppers can be put into lecho, ugly eggplant (all vegetables are wonderful) can be peeled and cut into cubes
- it is better to pick store-bought vegetables that are already well ripe, so that they do not take up space in your house and do not turn out to be tasteless when rolled up
- the most delicious, of course, from the garden or from grandmothers at the market, this is the best option, if not in price, then in quality for sure.
For example, a standard assortment of finger-licking vegetables for the winter in tomato sauce is prepared like this.
1. Vegetables are sorted and washed well. Damage is removed.
2. Juice is prepared from well-ripe, juicy tomatoes (dozens of ways to obtain juice, choose any one).
3. The juice is boiled, chopped vegetables are added in order from hardest to softest.
4. Sugar, salt, spices, vinegar and vegetable oil are added.
5. The workpiece is placed in jars, sterilized if necessary, and sealed with a lid.
