Finger-licking cabbage and carrot salad

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a finger-licking coleslaw? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Wash the carrots thoroughly with a brush, then peel. If necessary, remove the top leaves from the cabbage, wash the onions and peppers and remove the husks and seeds, respectively.
STEP 2
Finely chop the cabbage; you can use a special cabbage grater for this purpose. Place in a bowl or large enamel pan.
STEP 3
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and add to the cabbage.
STEP 4
Cut the pepper into thin strips.
STEP 5
Chop the onion into thin half rings.
STEP 6
Mix all products, add salt, vinegar, sugar. Let it sit in the bowl for an hour and put it into clean jars. Without covering with lids, keep the salad in jars for 5 days in the refrigerator/on the veranda/balcony, pierce it occasionally (at least once a day).
STEP 7
Cover with plastic lids and place in the refrigerator.
