I chose this recipe primarily because of the presence of zucchini in it. The neighbors shared their zucchini harvest, seven big fat ones, so now I'm looking for recipes to use them in. I had three chicken legs. I cut them into the thigh and drumstick. Instead of sour cream I used mayonnaise. In addition to all the other spices, I also added a ready-made spice mixture for chicken. I didn't add tomatoes. I baked the chicken and zucchini in a cast iron pan for one hour. It turned out very tasty. During marinating, the chicken meat was well saturated with spices, making it aromatic and rich in flavor. I really liked the zucchini. They did not soften and even turned out a little crispy.
