STEP 1
How to bake zucchini in the oven with egg and cheese? Very simple! To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. I used young zucchini, but you can also use regular zucchini. Use large, choice eggs. If the eggs are small, take 5-6 pieces.
STEP 2
Wash the zucchini. If using zucchini with skin, scrub it with a brush. Dry the vegetables. If the skin is thick and tough, cut it off. Cut the zucchini into thin slices no more than 5 mm thick.
STEP 3
Break the eggs into a bowl. Pour in milk at room temperature, add salt and ground black pepper. Whisk everything until smooth.
STEP 4
Grate the cheese on a coarse or medium grater. Any cheese is suitable for this dish - hard, semi-hard, soft, such as mozzarella. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes and melts well.
STEP 5
Grease a baking dish with a diameter of 24-26 cm with vegetable oil. Place zucchini slices in several layers.
STEP 6
Top the zucchini with the omelette mixture.
STEP 7
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Place the mold in an oven preheated to 190ºC for 35-40 minutes. The exact baking time depends on your oven. If the cheese starts to burn and the dish is not ready yet, cover the pan with foil.
STEP 8
Transfer the finished casserole to a dish and serve. Bon appetit!
