STEP 1
Let's prepare the ingredients. For this dish, it is better to take zucchini that is young, tender and juicy. Young zucchini does not need to be peeled, it is soft, and the core with seeds is removed, since they are not ripe, and the flesh is also tender. It is better to take minced meat from a mixture of beef and pork; it will make the dish more juicy, soft and delicate in taste.
STEP 2
Wash the zucchini well, dry it and cut it into slices about 1 centimeter thick. Sprinkle them lightly with salt and let them sit for a while. In the meantime, we are working on other ingredients.
STEP 3
If you prepare the minced meat yourself, then you need to grind the chilled or defrosted and washed meat in a meat grinder with the addition of onions. If you use ready-made minced meat, then add finely chopped onions, salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix the minced meat filling. Since the cooking time for zucchini, tomatoes and minced meat is different, let’s simmer the minced meat and onions a little in a frying pan in butter. And it will turn out even tastier.
STEP 4

Cover with a slice of tomato.

Sprinkle grated hard cheese on top. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the pan with the zucchini in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Serve the appetizer to the table, optionally with fresh herbs and some sauce. Bon appetit!
