STEP 1
How to bake a whole chicken in the oven in foil in mustard? First, prepare all the necessary ingredients for the marinade. Take a spacious large container. It should fit a chicken. Place sour cream, mustard and soy sauce into the selected container.
STEP 2
Add vegetable oil, salt and dried basil.
STEP 3
Mix everything until smooth.
STEP 4
Take the chicken carcass and rinse it under running, cold water. Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel or paper napkins. Coat the chicken completely with the marinade on all sides. Cover the bowl with a lid or cover with cling film and leave the chicken to marinate for several hours. I usually marinate the chicken in the morning in order to cook it in the oven for dinner. Half an hour before cooking, turn the oven on to 200 degrees.
STEP 5

Place the marinated chicken in the pan and pour the remaining marinade over it. Cover the chicken with another sheet of foil and secure the foil around the edges. Place the chicken in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 1 hour.
STEP 6
After an hour, remove the top sheet of foil from the chicken and place it back in the oven for another 30 minutes to brown the top of the chicken while it is open. STEP 7
In 30-40 the chicken will become rosy and appetizing. Transfer it to a plate and serve. Do not pour out the sauce that will be in the mold. Pour it into a gravy boat and serve along with the chicken. It is very tasty! Bon appetit!
