Water buns with poppy seeds

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to bake water buns with poppy seeds? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Beat the eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar and salt and pour in warm water. Stir everything thoroughly.
STEP 2

Sift the flour there, thanks to which it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished buns will be airier and fluffier. Sprinkle dry yeast (fast-acting) over the flour. Gently stir the yeast into the flour.
STEP 3

Knead the dough. It turns out sticky. Add vegetable oil and mix it into the dough. After this it becomes much less sticky. Form a ball out of it, cover with a napkin and leave for an hour in a warm place.
STEP 4

During this time, the dough will rise well and increase in volume.
STEP 5

Knead the risen dough.
STEP 6

Divide the dough into equal parts, I divided it into 12. Roll each piece into a log.
STEP 7

Place the buns on a greased baking sheet and leave to proof for 20-30 minutes. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees. Brush the risen buns with beaten egg, sprinkle some of them with sesame seeds, and some with poppy seeds.
STEP 8

Place the buns in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.
STEP 9

Sprinkle the finished buns with water to make the crust softer and shiny, and cover with a napkin. The buns are ready to eat! Have a delicious tea party!
