Preparing ingredients for making Viennese waffles. The flour must be sifted. Fresh sour cream with a fat content of more than 20%. Take chilled chicken eggs. You will also need sugar, vegetable oil and vanillin.

It is necessary to separate the whites from the yolks. Place the whites in the refrigerator.

Add sugar to the yolks.

Beat the ingredients with a mixer. Beat for about 10 minutes. The mass will increase in volume and thicken.

Add sour cream to the mixture. Mix with a whisk or spatula.

Add vegetable oil and vanillin. Mix carefully again.

Pour in the sifted flour. Mix well with a whisk until it reaches a thick creamy consistency.

Take the whites from the refrigerator. Beat them with a mixer. After 10 minutes, the mass will thicken and increase in volume almost three times.

Add the whipped whites to the mixture. And mix gently with a spatula.

The dough for Viennese waffles with sour cream is ready! It turns out aromatic, tender and airy.

Turn on the electric waffle iron. As soon as it heats up, place the dough on the panel. For one waffle - 2 tablespoons of dough. Close the lid and secure the lock.
STEP 12
Bake waffles for about 10 minutes. Baking time depends on the model of the electric waffle iron. You can also check the readiness of the waffles by eye by lifting the lid.
