  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to cook noodle soup in a slow cooker? Prepare your food. For the base, you can use ready-made broth (chicken, meat, vegetable) or plain water. Wash and peel the vegetables well.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

On your multicooker, set the mode suitable for frying. For me it is called “Frying”, on other models it may be called differently. If you are setting a time, set it to 15 minutes. Cut the onion into small cubes. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker and heat it a little. Fry the onion, stirring, for about 5 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and place in the multicooker bowl with the onions.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add tomato paste there and stir. Fry the vegetables, stirring, until the end of the program.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Add to vegetables.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Finely chop the garlic and add it along with all the spices to the bowl. Choose the set and quantity of spices according to your taste. Pour broth or water into the slow cooker. Add salt.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Turn on the soup setting. I use “Cook/Soup”, set the time to 30-40 minutes. 15-20 minutes before the end of the program, add vermicelli to the bowl. Stir, close the lid and wait for the end of the program.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

When finished, turn off the multicooker, open the lid and divide the soup into bowls. Serve the soup with fresh herbs and bread. Bon appetit!

The best soup, thank you. I also cook it with chicken broth. See the version of noodle soup in a saucepan.

The noodle soup in the slow cooker turned out to be very tasty, but this recipe is not one of those “throw it in and forget it” recipes - first the slow cooker is used as a frying pan for frying vegetables, then the soup is cooked, after a while you need to add the noodles. I used two cooking modes - first “Frying”, then “Milk porridge” (there is no “Soup” mode in my MV). I once tried to use “Stew” to cook soup, but then the soup boiled too much, and “Milk porridge” was just right. I poured boiling water over the fried vegetables, which shortened the cooking time of the soup a little. For spices I used bay leaf, allspice, freeze-dried garlic and smoked paprika. It turned out to be an excellent soup, eaten with sour cream and fresh bread!

How much water for this amount of food? I just recently purchased a multicooker, so I’m still not very familiar with it. The soup looks very, very appetizing. How does it taste?
