Turkey with pineapples in the oven

The dish is very easy to prepare, it is not very high in calories, because turkey itself is low-fat, and is even considered a dietary meat. Plus, it doesn't take much time to prepare. A wonderful dish: tender turkey fillet is amazingly combined with sweet, juicy pineapples. I really love turkey meat. First of all, it's really tasty. Secondly, it is absolutely non-greasy, but at the same time very tender. So I cook turkey quite often. I want to share one of their recipes today. The taste is simply magical :) Take my word for it.

    So, first, cut the turkey fillet into portions. I cooked for three, so I cut three slices about 1-1.5 cm thick

    Next, place the meat on a cutting board (you can cover it with cling film) and beat it thoroughly with a special hammer or just a rolling pin

    Salt the resulting chops on both sides, sprinkle with curry and ground paprika. Place the chops on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil

    Now lightly grease the meat with mayonnaise (it can be easily replaced with classic yogurt or sour cream, but then add more salt to the meat). Place pineapple rings on top of the mayonnaise. I got 2 pineapple washers for each chop.

    Grate the cheese on a coarse grater

    Now we put all this beauty in an oven heated to 220 degrees and bake for half an hour. Since the meat is well-beaten, this time is quite enough for cooking, but it definitely won’t have time to dry out. It is better to cover the baking sheet with foil at the beginning of cooking, otherwise the cheese will dry out quickly. But during the last 5 minutes of baking, remove the foil so that the cheese turns golden.

I saw a recipe for turkey with pineapples in the oven and wanted to cook it. I just made a few adjustments. Instead of turkey fillet, I took chicken thighs and first coated them with mayonnaise with spices: paprika, curry and black pepper, and let the thighs sit there. I placed them on a baking sheet covered with foil, smeared more mayonnaise on top and put a puck of pineapple. So that the meat and pineapple did not burn on top too. covered with foil. When the chicken was almost ready, sprinkle cheese on top and bake until the cheese melted and the crust was golden brown. It took more than an hour. It turned out delicious! The pineapple was imbued with chicken aroma, a very piquant taste. Great recipe, thank you!

I also really love turkey meat (I often bought it when I lived temporarily in Moscow), but here it is almost never on sale. Large frozen turkeys are thrown on New Year's Eve. You're welcome, Anahit. It’s also delicious with chicken; the meat is generally the same type. Fortunately, we always have turkey on sale, I like to cook soups from it, make cutlets, and bake it in the oven :)

Thank you, Shura and Irisha. My daughter loves very lean meat without any fat, but carbonation is suitable for her taste. I like it juicier. But turkey fillet suits both of us: lean and at the same time tender. That’s why I often cook turkey meat and I highly recommend everyone to try it.
