Trifle dessert in cups with strawberries
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make trifle dessert in cups with strawberries? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. It’s better to start cooking with a sponge cake. Use premium flour. If you wish, you can make trifles with white sponge cake. In this case, replace the cocoa with the same amount of flour.
STEP 2
Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. It is important that when separating, not a drop of yolk gets into the whites, otherwise it will not become foamy. Beat the whites with a mixer with sugar until fluffy.
STEP 3
Then, without stopping whisking, add the yolks one at a time. You will get a fluffy mass.
STEP 4
Sift the flour with cocoa and add it into the dough in several additions, gently mixing with a spatula.
STEP 5
Line a baking tray (30x40 cm) with parchment and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet and smooth it out. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 10 minutes. It is important not to overdry the dough. Let the finished cake cool completely.
STEP 6
Using a glass, cut out 8 circles from the chocolate cake. The blanks should fit into the cups in which you will form the dessert.
STEP 7
Place the remaining pieces of biscuit in a blender bowl and grind into crumbs.
STEP 8
For the filling, take fragrant ripe strawberries. You can replace or supplement it with other fruits and berries.
STEP 9
Wash the strawberries, dry them, remove the stems. Cut large berries into quarters, cut medium berries in half, small ones can be left whole.
STEP 10
For the cream, you can use ready-made store-bought cream or whip it yourself. In addition to this cream, any other cream will do.
STEP 11
Beat the cold cream with a mixer with powdered sugar until stiff, stable peaks form.
STEP 12
Place a circle of sponge cake on the bottom of the glasses. Spread some strawberries on top. Spread some of the cream over the berries. Top with the second chocolate layer and repeat layers. Sprinkle with biscuit crumbs on top. Place the dessert in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to soak.
STEP 13
Before serving, garnish the dessert with strawberries and mint. Bon appetit!
