How to make soup with fresh tomatoes and potatoes? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary products. I cooked the soup using ready-made chicken broth. You can also use vegetable broth or plain water, it will still turn out delicious. You can add bell pepper or carrots to the main ingredients to taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into small cubes or bars.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Bring the chicken broth to a boil and add the potatoes. Skim off any foam that forms and reduce heat to moderate. Salt everything to taste and cook until the potatoes are ready. This will take you from 10 to 20 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    Add bay leaf.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Wash the tomatoes and cut off the stem attachment points. Cut the tomatoes into small slices or circles, as you prefer. To brighten the finished soup, I used tomatoes of different colors. If desired, remove the skins from the tomatoes. Read how to do this at the end of the recipe.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Peel the garlic and onion. Rinse the greens. Chop the onion and garlic finely by hand. Chop the greens randomly.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the tomatoes in the pan.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Next, add the onions, garlic and herbs to the pan. Bring to a boil. Leave to simmer for a couple more minutes and remove the pan from the heat.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Let the soup sit for 5-10 minutes and serve. When serving, offer each person a plate of ground black or allspice. Very tasty both hot and cold.

The recipe for tomato soup came in handy, I made it for lunch today. I liked that it was quite filling, but not as rich as “winter” soups. I had frozen chicken broth and cooked it with it. I cut the potatoes with a curly knife for beauty, washed them and dipped them into the broth. I immediately added the seasonings so that the potatoes had time to absorb their taste and aroma. Then I put tomato slices, onions and garlic into the broth. I chopped the onion and garlic smaller so that they would cook faster and become less noticeable to my daughter in the soup). I had grated carrots on hand for another dish, so I decided to add a pinch to the soup to vary the colors. The tomato soup will cook very quickly! To do this, I sometimes freeze the prepared broth. It is bright, appetizing, delicious! Thanks for the recipe, the whole family loved it!

I had some chicken broth left and was looking for a place to use it. I made the soup according to the recipe, only I added the onions along with the potatoes, I like the onions to be boiled as much as possible. Not bad, you can add more different vegetables. Added oregano works well. Served with caramelized bacon and brown bread.
