Tomato preparation
An excellent tomato preparation for delicious winter dishes! I have been making this recipe for several years. And in winter I use it for scrambled eggs, omelettes, pizzas, bruschettas, soups, sauces, etc. instead of tasteless, greenhouse, and even expensive tomatoes. It's quick and easy to do. Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Take ripe fleshy tomatoes. Place them in hot water for a couple of minutes
STEP 2

Transfer to cold water and remove the skin. The process can be simplified. Just cut the tomatoes into small pieces or punch them in a blender, or put them through a meat grinder.
STEP 3

Cut out the center and cut the tomato into 4-8 pieces as desired
STEP 4

Place in a wide-bottomed bowl, bring to a boil, add salt to taste and boil for 5-10 minutes.
STEP 5

We transfer them to sterilized jars, seal them with boiled lids, turn them upside down and cover them with a blanket. And leave until cool. I have screw-on lids, so I don’t turn them over. Store at room temperature
