In the morning I fried toast with eggs in a frying pan. This is a great addition to breakfast! I had yesterday’s baguette, I cut it into 1 cm thick pucks. There was no milk, so I replaced it with 10% cream. I mixed them with scrambled eggs, sugar and salt. I didn’t soak the baguette pieces too much, just quickly dipped them into the egg mixture. Otherwise, the bread may become soggy in the pan. The croutons fry very quickly. By the way, I added a piece of butter to the vegetable oil. This made the croutons even more tender. Place the finished croutons on a paper towel to absorb excess fat. They turned out delicious, slightly sweet croutons! Very tender and creamy!
